63 year old fitness test - results

I performed a fitness test on my 63rd birthday - August 14th.

Results:

Pull Ups - 15 reps

Push Ups - 63 reps

1 Mile Run - 7:35 

I was surprised that I was able to perform 15 pull ups, the first 10 were pretty easy, last 5 were a bit of a grind.  Body weight 173 pounds.  The push ups were a real surprise, ever since I started barbell training I stopped doing push ups.  I had a goal of 50, then I just pushed through to 63 and the last one was a all out grind.  The 1 mile run test was just a whim, I decided to just do it.  Goal was to break 9 minutes.  I was shocked I hit 7:35!  

The good news is this is one year after my cancer treatment, at this time last summer I weighed 153 pounds and was just starting to come back.  I started training seriously January, and took some time off in late April, early May for travel.  I am back at the training again and I am pleased with my progress so far, I still have a long way to go.
